Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mike has been a recording professional for over 30 years, dedicated to top quality service and the advancement of technique in music production, editing, mixing and mastering.
Mike has multiple gold and platinum records with artists such as Shalimar, Lakeside, Vanessa Williams and more. Recently he's completed projects at The Manor for Funkdoobiest, Friday Night and Hawthorne Headhunters among others.
Samuel "Grilla" McConnell

Originally from St. Louis, MO, Grilla moved to LA with Ish in 2003 to start Breakfast Records and The Manor recording studio. Since that time, he's focused on mastering the art of audio engineering, honing his talents as a record producer/musician, and building experience in the crossing of genres.
Clients consistently laud Grills' creative flexibility, personable nature, and efficiency in pro tools. Always the perfectionist, Grill will not let a record leave the studio until it meets client expectations and industry standards.
Matthew "Ish" Risch

Ish, also a St. Louis transplant, has been engineering, producing, writing, and playing music with Grilla since the mid-nineties. His talent for playing keys and composing music have earned him a name as a producer and arranger for numerous artists, local and national.
As a studio owner and label exec, Ish keeps a productive, one-on-one collaboration with the client/artist throughout the development, recording, and mixing process. He believes the best studio experience is one of ease, comfort, and total creative fulfillment, and makes it his mission to deliver.
With their easy-going nature, ear for quality, and complete professionalism, Grilla and Ish have established The Manor as a destination for artists and musicians on the rise.
